Bob’s Vertical Challenge, 2013…The Results Are In!

The 2013 Vertical Challenge results are in! This year’s winner for the team that skied the most vertical feet goes to MainStay Investments! Congratulations! You join an elite group of teams who rose above and beyond the rest. You should be proud! Consider this an invitation to defend your title next year!

In second place the team from Hill Air Force Base, The 419 F-16 Black Widow pilots took the podium. It’s an honor to have these brave men at our event. They truly represent what dedication and love of country mean to us at the Vertical Challenge. Thank you for participating!

Third place in this year’s Vertical Challenge went to the team from the Worker’s Compensation Fund of Utah. Thank you for helping make this year’s event our best ever! We’d love to have you back next year to see if you can do even better!

The Vertical Challenge committee would like to thank all of our terrific sponsors as well as those who joined us this year for making our event a wonderful experience for all involved. As with all previous Vertical Challenges, all proceeds will go to benefit ScoutReach, the charity arm of the Trapper Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Please mark your calendars for next year’s Vertical Challenge, Tuesday February 25, 2014 at Snowbasin Ski Resort. You’ll never know just how much a little help can change the life of someone else. Thank you all for this year. We can’t wait for next February!

In One Week You Can Help Change Lives

It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men, Frederick Douglass

We may never know the impact we have on others. A seemingly inconsequential action could forever change the life of someone else, someone we may never meet. Greater still is the impact we can have in the lives of children–be they ours or others. On Tuesday, February 26, 2013 you have an opportunity to do just that. You can help change a child’s life.

In one week Bob’s Vertical Challenge will return again to Snowbasin Ski Resort for its 6th anniversary. All proceeds from the fundraiser go directly to ScoutReach, the charity arm for the Trapper Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

In the previous five years, Bob’s Vertical Challenge has raised and donated tens of thousands of dollars to benefit children who would otherwise be denied life-changing experiences.

The Vertical Challenge is just that–an attempt for a team of four skiers/snowboarders to complete the assigned runs. Once completed, your team will have skied/snowboarded over 100,000 vertical feet! Don’t stop there! After you’ve conquered the challenge, see how many vertical feet your team can reach. Each team participant will be equipped with a GPS unit compliments of Flaik and results are tabulated in real time! Please join us Tuesday, February 26 at Snowbasin Ski Resort for a great day on the slopes with your friends, family, and co-workers. Registration is easy. Just go to our REGISTER page and sign up a team today!

Each year events come and go–events to support one cause or another. On February 26 you’ll have a chance to really make a difference in the life of a child.
